Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is simply a type of online sales strategy in which a product producer or manufacturer allows other entities (typically individuals, but not always) to target the same type of audience that would be interested in that product.
These entities are called "affiliates". Affiliates market the product or service to others and, when successful, earn a commission from recommending the product to others and completing the sale of that product.

A main benefit of being an affiliate, you can earn money from product sales without having to create your own products.
Another main benefit is that you usually don't actually "close" the sale. The producer's own sales platform (VSL, website, sales funnel, etc) typically guides the interested party to, or through, the process of further presenting and explaining the benefits of the product. Then closing and processing the sales transaction. 

So affiliate marketing is recommending a product or service by sharing it on a blog, social media platform, through email marketing, or a website. Each time a product is purchased through an initial unique link associated with the affiliate and their recommendation of the product, the affiliate earns a commission.

There is a lot of upside potential in affiliate marketing to earn a lot of money and go from a simple occational referral fee, to a siginificant monthly income source.
